Sam's Bikes just spent two months on the Rogue. Here's what he thought.
We love it when the Rogue gets put through its paces by someone who actually knows what they're talking about, and Sam's Bikes just gave it exactly that treatment. Two months of real riding, a fully reworked build, and a verdict we're pretty proud of.

Built to plow
The Rogue is our full carbon frame eMTB, running on mullet wheels with the option to set up as a full 29er. Stock travel sits at 170mm up front and 165mm out back, with a flip chip taking rear travel out to 170mm, or 172mm in the 29er configuration. Riders chasing an even more downhill-focused feel can push the front out to 180mm.
Power comes from the Avinox M2S, putting out 130Nm of continuous torque and 1300W of peak power, with a 60-second boost mode taking torque up to 150Nm. It runs off an internal 800Wh battery.
Sam picked up on the details we love too: the industrial look of the frame, the chunky chain stays, and the mid-pivot design working alongside the i-track suspension idler.
A true enduro weapon
Sam's word for it was slayer, and that's exactly what we set out to build. Rock gardens and rough terrain are where the Rogue comes alive, with the suspension actually helping carry speed through the travel rather than just soaking it up. It took him a little while to read the way the bike's balance shifts through the stroke, but once he was dialled in, he called it genuinely rewarding.

This isn't a playful, poppy bike. As Sam put it, “This is a true enduro plowing machine,” built for riders who want to commit, and the harder you push it, the more it gives back. Big mountain days, hardcore enduro trails, and bike park laps are exactly what it lives for.
Climbs like a shuttle, rides like a slayer
Paired with the Avinox M2S, Sam described the Rogue's climb up fire roads as shuttle monster territory, with the i-track idler creating a firm, planted platform to get to the top fast. He also ran the motor through a proper sound test, and it held up, next to silent even under load.
Who Sam says should be looking at the Rogue
Sam reckons it's a strong match for riders after big mountain days and hardcore enduro trails, or anyone wanting to push a bit harder than they normally would and feel confident doing it. It's also a genuine upgrade path for riders on an older eMTB frame, since we're one of the only brands out there offering the Rogue as a frame-only kit as well as a complete build.
