Australian Mountain Bike Mag puts the Rogue R to the test

Australian Mountain Bike has published a full review of the Velduro Rogue R, testing the enduro e-MTB across the dusty, punchy terrain of Gap Creek in Brisbane. Tester Alex Shadbolt came away impressed with a bike he described as far more than just another e-mountain bike, one that feels alive under power and keeps encouraging you to ride harder.
A frame built to adapt
The Rogue R is designed to change shape depending on how it's ridden. Flip chips at the shock and seat stay let riders shift between Standard, All Mountain and Enduro travel settings, and switch between 27.5 inch and 29 inch rear wheel options without altering the geometry. AMB tested the bike in its mixed wheel Standard setup and called out the versatility as a real strength, noting it suits riders who want one bike across a wide range of terrain.

Suspension that reads the trail
The review highlighted the i-Track suspension, a four bar, mid pivot design that shifts through the travel to balance pedalling efficiency with composure on rough ground. Paired with the Fox 38 Grip X2 fork and Fox X2 Factory shock, the reviewer found the bike stayed composed and confidence inspiring through Gap Creek's roots, rock gardens and off camber sections.
Power that feels like a teammate
AMB's testers were genuinely taken with how the Avinox motor delivers its power, calling out smooth, intuitive assistance and a level of real time feedback that made the ride feel interactive rather than automated.
