Elliott Heap joins Velduro Bikes
Elliott Heap has joined Velduro as our newest ambassador. He raced his custom-built Velduro Rogue to win the opening round of the British National Enduro Series at Tweed Valley before we even had a chance to make an official announcement. That pretty much tells you everything you need to know.
Elliott is from Wigan in the north of England, and he came into mountain biking via motocross, which probably explains his aggressive, committed style on the bike. He switched to MTB around 2015 and made an immediate impact, finishing 3rd in the Junior Downhill World Cup Series before shifting his focus to enduro.
He went on to win the U21 Enduro World Series title in 2018, racing alongside EWS legend Sam Hill on the Nukeproof Factory team. That partnership ran for years at the highest level of the sport before Wiggle Chain Reaction Cycles went into administration in 2023, leaving one of Britain's best enduro racers without a team.
For 2026, Elliott is back. He's racing the British Enduro Series on the Velduro Rogue, and he's already winning.
In his own words
"This feels like the right move at the right time. I wanted to align myself with a brand that's hungry, forward-thinking and genuinely passionate about building something different. This is a genuine fresh start for me, and I couldn't be more excited to be part of a brand being built from the ground up. The Rogue is already an insane platform, so I'm excited to see what we can achieve together this season and beyond."
— Elliott Heap
That sentiment comes through clearly in his bike check video above. Elliott talks about the i-Track suspension system, the AVINOX M2S motor, the steep seat angle, and what it's actually like to ride a bike with this much power. His honest take: the bike doesn't let you down, your brain does. The stuff you can ride up is ridiculous.

The build
Elliott's Rogue is a frame-only build, which is exactly what the platform is designed for. He's running Industry 9 wheels front and rear, a Fox 38 fork, Fox X2 shock custom-tuned for the Rogue's geometry, and SRAM XX transmission. His full parts list is in the video.
The Rogue uses our i-Track high-pivot suspension and the DJI AVINOX M2S motor — 130Nm continuous torque, 800Wh battery, with the option for fast charging. Elliott runs mostly Auto and Trail modes during regular rides, and saves Boost for when he needs it. Which is not as often as you'd think.
"The Avinox is a beast," he says. "But I use this bike every day. Most of my time I'm in auto or trail. When I do need the power, it's there."
"Elliot Heap has always been one of the most respected and naturally talented riders in the UK. Beyond racing results, he brings huge experience, personality and a genuine understanding of what riders want from a bike. We're incredibly excited to have him involved with the brand — not just from a racing perspective, but also in product development as we continue building momentum in the eMTB space."

What's next
Elliott will race the full 2026 British National Enduro Series on the Rogue. He's also stepping into a lead presenting role with Warner Brothers for their UCI Enduro World Cup coverage this summer, so you'll be seeing plenty of him across the industry this year.
His involvement with Velduro goes beyond racing, too. We'll be working with him on product development and content throughout the year. More on that as it happens.
