Velduro NZ Welcomes Our First Ambassador: Jamie Garrod

Velduro New Zealand is proud to welcome Jamie Garrod as our very first brand ambassador. Jamie brings over 25 years of riding experience, from BMX beginnings to backcountry epics, and has built his career around coaching, guiding, and elevating the mountain bike experience here in New Zealand and abroad.

As the founder of NZMTB, Jamie has developed one of the country’s most respected guiding and coaching operations. Now, with his custom-built Velduro Rogue frameset, he’s bringing that same expertise and passion into our world.

For us, this partnership is about more than just a name on a roster. Velduro is rider-driven, and Jamie’s involvement ensures every new frame, component, and design innovation is tested where it counts - on New Zealand’s demanding trails. His feedback and experience will directly influence how we continue to push performance, durability, and design for the riders who demand more from their e-MTBs.

Jamie isn’t just representing Velduro, he’s helping us shape its future.
